metallica is an important father’s day ritual for me because james hetfield looks a lot like my dad
and also heavy metal has perpetually been a salve for working out the complex interpersonal relationships i am somehow (barely) functional enough to cultivate
today my dad came over and we talked about manly things like grain alcohol and power tools while working on my truck
then he left and i lifted weights for about an hour wow i really need to craft an actual regimen instead of just working my entire body every day that is a killer way to bust one’s shit up
i caved and gave myself an A+ for Manly Effort and Being A Completely Raw Dude for the day, good job lad
